Josiane El Zir, Lebanese Public Figure, Actrice, Performer and Singer will use her fame to spotlight the needs of Children and Mothers in Lebanon as she takes on her new role as Goodwill Ambassador for Y.A.N.A. (You Are Not Alone).

Ms. El Zir, was appointed by C.C.U.J.M. the association responsible for the Y.A.N.A. Project, in recognition of her dedication to children’s issues.

 “We are delighted to welcome Josiane El Zir to Y.A.N.A.,” said Michel Baaklini, President of C.C.U.J.M. “Goodwill Ambassadors help focus attention on the objective of the project and can act as agents of change.” Ms. El Zir, will raise awareness of the project’s issues, particularly in relation to needy children and mothers.

“It is an honor for me to be given this opportunity to contribute to this project,” Ms. El Zir said.

Ms. El Zir received her official letter from Mrs. Leila Hawi Zod, Vice-President of C.C.U.J.M.,  during the Y.A.N.A. 2nd anniversary Fundraising dinner on Wednesday April 7th, 2010 at El Dirwandi Restaurant in Ain El Mraisseh.
