Y.A.N.A. works with children whose families are having difficult social circumstances:

Conditions for acceptance:

  1. Family’s in extreme poverty
  2. Abused child
  3. Abandoned or orphaned by one or both parents

Y.A.N.A. provides the children with the following services and follow-up:

1.    On the educational and schooling level:

  • Financial assistance with the child’s tuition fees whenever possible and necessary
  • Soon, the association aims to help with the children’s after-school homework from the beginning till the end of the school year (excluding holidays). This program would include a lunch meal before tutoring

2.    On the medical level:

The program includes medical care through the use of the association’s medical team and equipment at the clinic and dispensary

3.    Miscellaneous activities:

  • The children benefiting from this program are automatically part of the association’s “Children Group” supervised by a social assistant
  • The “Children Group” meets every Saturday between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm where kids will take part in a multitude of entertainment, cultural and spiritual activities which includes many field trips during the school year and a summer camp to celebrate at the end of it.
